Welcome to Laila, home of the UK’s No.1 dry rice brand.
Laila was launched in 1996 for discerning Asian shoppers seeking flavoursome basmati rice that tasted as good as they knew it should. Fast forward three decades and we are the UK’s top selling dry rice brand.
Laila is produced using the finest basmati rice from the Punjab provinces of Pakistan & India, featuring premium quality rice grains, harvested from the foothills of the Himalayas. Its wonderfully, light, fluffy and aromatic grains have won over professional chefs and UK shoppers alike.
Over the years, Laila has grown into a trusted household brand. We have taken our passion for the finest store cupboard ingredients and expanded it into an extensive line up of popular rice varieties from around the world, as well as pickles, chutneys, spices, curry pastes, ghee butter, lentils, beans and flours. More recently we have added ready meals and snacks to our line up of delicious, Indian-inspired foods which span more than 400 products.
