Rinse rice under running, cold water, until the water runs clear.
Add rice to a large pan of boiling water.
Stir and bring to the boil, keeping uncovered. Reduce to a rolling simmer for approximately 10 minutes or until rice is tender.
Drain water, cover and leave to stand for 3 minutes.
Lightly fork through the grains and serve.
