Mung beans have a slightly sweet, nutty flavour and can be used in both savoury and sweet dishes. Ideal in curries, soups, salads and casseroles as well as Asian desserts and Chinese cuisine.

Cooking Instructions

Soak the mung beans overnight in cold water.

Drain and rinse and then place in a pan and cover with cold water.

Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes or until soft.

Drain and serve.

Do not eat raw.
