Red split lentils have a mild, earthy and slightly sweet flavour and are tender when cooked.They are best used in sauces, soups and stews or pureed for use in batters and baking.

Cooking Instructions

Rinse the lentils and then place in a pan and cover with cold water.

Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes or until tender.

Drain and serve.

Do not eat raw.
