GREEN GODDESS HUMMUS

Herby and creamy, Green Goddess Hummus is delicious spread in a sandwich, or served with veggies or pitta, making it the ultimate appetiser or snack. Experiment by adding avocado, or spinach, or drizzle with Laila Lemon juice to create this addictive guilt-free dish.

Ingredients

    • 1 can Laila Chickpeas, drained
    • 60g tahini
    • 2 tsp lime juice
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tsp whole black pepper, freshly ground
    • Handful fresh basil, roughly chopped
    • Handful fresh parsley, roughly chopped
    • 2 spring onions, roughly chopped

Method

    • In a food processor, add chickpeas, tahini, lime juice, garlic, salt and whizz until creamy.
    • Pour some olive oil or water and whirl the mixture till the hummus becomes silky smooth.
    • Add in fresh herbs, spring onions and blend it to a desired consistency.
    • Adjust seasoning as preferred.
    • Scoop the hummus into a wide bowl, drizzle with olive oil and garnish with herbs.
    • Serve it with pitta wedges, cut veggies and enjoy!
