A classic dish featuring tender, flaky salmon fillets, marinated to enhance the flavours, cooked until crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, paired with fluffy, aromatic basmati rice.

Ingredients
- 360g Laila Golden Sella Basmati Rice
- Salt, to taste
- 680g salmon fillets
- Lemon pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- 80ml soy sauce
- 60g brown sugar
- 60ml vegetable oil
Method
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Season the salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt and keep aside.
- In a bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved.
- Coat the fish with this mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat grill on medium heat.
- Oil the grill grate and cook salmon for 6-8 minutes on each side. Avoid overcooking the fish.
- Serve it over a bed of freshly prepared rice.
